Local fishermen at Tonka continue their Olive Ridley Sea Turtle Activities even during Holi Festival.
96 Olive Ridley Sea Turtle hatchlings were released into the Arabian Sea on 7th March 2023. Gram Panchayat President Manju Gowda, Chetan from Fisheries Department, Rajesh Tandel, Jagadish Tandel, Ganapathi Tandel Ramesh, Narasimha, Pawarti and many local fishermen were present on the occasion.
